As the title say's, at the moment things are a bit of a fight.
Let's get the bad stuff out the way first.
In the last couple of weeks I'm noticing symptoms really ramping up; the hug, leg weakness, back pain, insomnia and fatigue just to name a few. If I'm being totally honest I do think it has to do with the change in the weather, because it has been since the cold has set in that things have become tougher.
Sitting here tonight writing this blog and the hug is very bad, to the point it's kinda hard to breath in, even harder when trying to eat. The leg issues are really difficult to manage because they are very weak, which is making my already limited mobility even harder. Insomnia is awful, finding it a real challenge to get much sleep at night, but sleeping of an afternoon seems easy I can drop off sat on the sofa without a problem.
It's been around 4 weeks since I took a hard decision to come off my pain killers due to the short term memory issues that they may have been contributing to, being truthful, I'm beginning to think I may need to go back on them soon.
Now the good stuff!.
That's enough of the bad, now let's talk positives... Christmas is just around the corner, really can't wait. Get the family together and have a nice chilled day, not the mention TURKEY, absolutely love it! Still have to get some presents and the food shopping needs doing, but that will get done over the next couple of days.
The work for MS News Today is going well, I've written a couple of columns that have been published with a couple more ready to go over the Christmas period. It really is such a privilege to be able to write for so many people worldwide, I've still got lot's of learning to do, but I am very eager to learn.
The new sofa's get delivered this week, YESSSSSS! we've not had new in over 10 years so this is very exciting haha.
Working on new ways to improve the podcast, it's been many weeks since I released an episode; that is due to wanting to find ways to improve it and find a focus to help people as well as make it fun and informative.
Gaming stuff is going quite well on YouTube, hit over 250k video views in this year, that's a massive number.
Having a brilliant time talking to friends on social media and trying to spread the word about MS. I am determined to help build up knowledge about the condition as well as help others that are going through similar.
All in all, as tough as things are with MS symptoms currently the fire to fight is still very much inside me.
I've got MS, MS hasn't got me!
Keep fighting warriors! we've got this!
